Our Furnace Bay Rods are made in the United States of America. The blanks are manufactured to our own design and specification resulting in improved strength to weight ratios for greater performance and stability. Our blanks use a new upgrade in Graphite/Carbon composite and (new to the fishing industry) an epoxy resin lay-up. They have a Carbon scrim (sheet film) for control of the main fiber orientation, which adds additional stability and "hoop strength". The cork is superior grade or equivalent, the reel seats are Fuji and the guides are Fuji Alconite.
Our rods are all custom and are build in small lots or to order. Models that are out of stock or are "Special Order" are clearly marked in the rod description. Delivery can be expected in four to six weeks
